Welcome to In the Footsteps of Chinggis Khan. By accessing or using our website, booking a tour, or interacting with our services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Company Information

In the Footsteps of Chinggis Khan is a UK-based travel company providing guided cultural and adventure tours across Mongolia and UK.

2. Booking and Payment

All bookings must be confirmed in writing and accompanied by a deposit or full payment, as specified.

Full payment must be completed by the deadline outlined in your tour confirmation email.

Prices are listed in GBP and are subject to change based on exchange rates or unforeseen increases in operating costs.

Invoices and receipts will be provided upon request.

3. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellations must be made in writing by email.

If the traveller or Partner Company cancels the approved tour, the following penalties shall apply:

More than 60 days before departure: [10]% cancellation fee

30–59 days before departure: [25]% cancellation fee

15–29 days before departure: [50]% cancellation fee

4 days or fewer: no refund

In the event of cancellation due to force majeure, the company will refund all payments except the cost of airline tickets, if applicable.

4. Changes to Itinerary

The company may adjust the itinerary due to weather, local conditions, or force majeure events.

Any changes will be communicated to the traveller or partner company in advance whenever possible.

Alternative arrangements of similar value will be offered where available.

5. Responsibilities and Liability

In the Footsteps of Chinggis Khan is not liable for: delays, accidents, or service interruptions once the tour begins in Mongolia.

Additional expenses arising from flight cancellations, delays, or missed connections.

Loss or damage to personal property.

The Mongolian partner shall maintain appropriate liability insurance and take reasonable precautions to ensure client safety.

6. Force Majeure

Force majeure includes, but is not limited to: natural disasters (earthquake, flood, storm), civil unrest, war, or government actions, outbreaks of infectious diseases.

In such events, the company is not held liable for failure to fulfill contractual obligations and will notify clients and partners immediately.

7. Travel Insurance

Travellers are required to purchase comprehensive travel insurance that includes: trip cancellation, medical coverage, emergency evacuation and baggage loss

8. Visas and Entry Requirements

It is the traveller’s responsibility to ensure that they meet all visa and entry requirements for Mongolia. Assistance can be provided upon request.

9. Confidentiality and Privacy

Both parties agree to keep client data and business information confidential.

We will not share your data with third parties except where required by law or with your consent.
